A large famille verte dish decorated with the Great Wall of China. Kangxi period.

Of canted rectangular form, brightly painted in the centre with pagodas, pavilions and a zigzag wall in a setting with willows and pines, representing probably the Great Wall of China, the rim with vignettes of birds on a seeded green ground, the pie-crust rim in iron-red and gilding.
