A very rare, very fine and unusual Chinese blue and white dish decorated with a figure of a court lady. Kangxi period

This type of decoration is well known is famille verte enamels, but looks rarer in underglaze blue.

A similar dish decorated with a lady and a boy in the famille verte palette is in the collection of the Victorian and Albert Museum (inventory number C.1199-1910).
