Perched on a pierced rockwork, base splashed in aubergine and green, the bird glaze in tones of green with feather-markings delineated in black, standing with head slightly turned in attentive attitude, the pupils picked out in black and the black and legs left unglazed.

Well modeled, the Goddess of Mercy seated on a lotus pedestal rising from a dark craggy grotto towering behind her. She is flanked by the Golden Youth, Xancai and the Jade Maiden, Longnu. The biscuit glazed in dark-brown, ivory-white, and green with the hair painted black. The base left unglazed.
