A Chinese famille rose ‘Parrot on a perch” vase after a design of Pronk. Qianlong period.

The design sometimes attributed to Cornelis Pronk and also made at Meissen, painted on both sides with a richly coloured parrot holding a sprig of cherry in its talons as he stands chained to his perch, suspended from a melon-form ornament at the neck, within blue band borders.
