Of scalloped form, decorated en grisaille and in gold, with a central scene of an armed warrior standing over a resting companion and looking toward a winged figure who aims an arrow from a dove-driven chariot amongst clouds in which is also seated a scantily-draped female.

Painted with the arms of Van Schoonhoven (from Rotterdam and Leiden) and Geraerds (Haarlem) accollee, a Continental coat-of-arms on bianco-sopra-bianco ground, the rims in the Du Paquier style, with elaborate strapwork and diaper pattern border in grisaille and gilt.

Decorated in Chinese ink (en grisaille) and with gold highlights on some details, at the centre with Mary, Joseph and the Three Shepherds surrounding the baby Jesus in a crib, a donkey asleep in the foreground. Two differents borders are painted with tendrils, flowers, leaves berries and floral garlands, typical of Viennese Du Paquier porcelain style.
