The dish is decorated in the wucai palette to the interior centre with various flower sprays including chrysanthemum and lotus, various borders, ruyi, and two confronting phoenix.

Executed in a very nice quality porcelain, especially white and almost in eggshell porcelain, decorated to the centre with flowers vases and precious objects, encircled by alternating cartouches of flowers and antiques, the bases painted with an auspicious mark.
