Decorated in the famille rose palette, the arms are intended for Douglas of Cavers, in Co. Roxburgh, Argent an human heart gules unsigned with an imperial crown, on a chief azure three stars of the first within a bordure of the second ; crest, A dexter hand holding a broken lance endwise; motto ‘Do or die’.
