An identical plate was published by François et Nicole Hervouët in La Porcelaine des Compagnies des Indes à Décor Occidental, 1986, p. 353, no. 13.39 (full page colours).
The print remains unknown and this decoration is usually describes as a doctor treating a patient. It should have been an interpretation of some “fête champêtre” by Pater or Lancret.
