A Chinese figural plate decorated in famille rose enamels. Yongzheng period.

Enameled in the famille rose palette with figures of two ladies, one of whom is unhooking a rose-colored fish that has been caught by a boy in the lotus pond in the background. The narrow border is of canary diaper, with four reserves, and beyond this is a broad border of pink diaper with four reserves containing peonies and hawthorn blossom.
