A large Chinese oblong octogonal famille verte dish decorated with figures. Kangxi period

Of octagonal form, painted with two ladies on a terrace, one holding a fan, looking over a lotus-filled pond, the border with stylized peony and four butterfly cartouches, the moulded rim enriched in iron-red.
