Very fine eggshell tea bowl and his saucer decorated in famille rose palette enamels and gilt, with a figure of a chinese lady dancing in domestic interior. The sleeves of the dress are aubergine and the girdle is canary-yellow. The railings of the terrace are enameled in rose, as also are the tree branches beyond it. Nearby is a tall bamboo table in green and black, and also a stand in brown and blue. The broad outside border is of pink diaper work with four reserves, brilliantly enameled with peonies, pomegranates and fingered citron in natural colors. The narrow exterior border is in greenish blue diaper. A feature of this specimen is the extraordinary depth, nearly an inch, of the border inside the cup.
