Decorated in the famille rose palette, with a gilt medallion with peony, magnolia and finger citron and a pierced ribboned vase with bamboo sprays alongside. The narrow sides are covered by a blue-enamel ruyi-shaped lappet with gilt-Y-pattern decoration that hangs from a shaped band runs around the top of the sides.
